Padlocks keyed alike

Padlocks keyed alike

Difference between single lock and keyed alike

You can choose one or more padlocks in single locking or one of the two keyed alike locks. If you choose more than one lock in the single locking, you will receive locks that can only be locked with your own keys (2 keys per lock included).

If you need padlocks that are compatible with each other (keyed alike), select the padlocks with one of the two keyed alike locks (each keyed alike lock is assigned a different number). Then select one of the two keyed alike so that you have a group of locks that can be locked with each key included.

The two keyed alike Groups
(no. 1 and no. 2) will not be lockable with each other!

Why are there two different types of locks?

Quite simply. The two types of locks are used to be able to order different groups of padlocks. The locks you select with the first keyed alike are compatible with each other, but not with the locks you assign the second keyed alike.

In this way, the padlocks within your first group are compatible with each other but not with the second group.
